Wynne Meisenbach, CMS-CHP, FIBH, CEPC
Liberty Brain Training, LLC
Neurofeedback, Mindful Eating Coaching, Hypnosis
Arising from a need to manage her own life’s challenges stemming from an eating disorder, family of origin issues, and a chronic health concern with which she was diagnosed in college, Wynne began to study nutrition in 1990. Autodidactic by nature, she became a student of life and sought out books and people who could help her on her way. She developed relationships with people who had studied personally with great minds such as Milton Erickson, Eugene Gendlin, and Carl Rogers. She later became personal friends with a well known Jungian Analyst, and an early leader in the field of mind-body connection, the work of both of whom was so inspiring to her that she found herself delving deeper into the areas emotions, nutrition and our relationship with food and neuroscience. Through this journey, she began to heal her own wounds.
All of this was taking place as she was going about her life as a professional violinist, a career which she had embarked upon at the tender age of 4. While passionate about music, she had always felt the pull toward the areas of emotional heath, nutrition, spirituality, communication and how these all interplayed with one another in the creation of overall wellness. More often than not, people would be surprised when she told them that she was a violinist, expecting her to say that she worked as some kind of helping professional instead.
Eventually, in 2013, she could no longer ignore the pull. She set out to discover just exactly what future the pursuit of these other passions would build for her. Her first step toward her new future was to become a Certified Medical Support-Clinical Hypnosis Practitioner and a Fellow of the International Board of Hypnotherapy. Next was becoming a Certified Birth Into Being Facilitator-in-Training and then a Certified NeurOptimal® Neurofeedback Trainer. Up next was to become a Certified Mindful Eating Coach, specializing in Mind-Body Nutrition. Taking those steps led her to create Liberty Brain Training, LLC in 2015, as a vehicle through which she could pull together the various areas of study and trainings she has pursued throughout the years and share them for the benefit of others.
When she is not working, playing or teaching music, or studying one of her many areas of interest, she likes to sing and dance in unexpected places, do yoga, go antiquing, hike in the mountains, visit art museums, play with her dog, and laugh uncontrollably with her friends. She has two wonderfully quirky kids.
